Our mission is to produce the world’s healthiest and best tasting drinking water for maximum hydration and faster recovery. Our water is made using an innovative water treatment technology to remove impurities and increase oxygen levels. Our flagship product Chilly Water was inspired by our love of music and is being released in collaboration with Widespread Panic to address concerns of dehydration at “live” concert venues. Dehydration is a well-known issue for fans and even band members, so our goal with Chilly Water is to join with the band in encouraging fans to drink more water and stay hydrated.
Today, people have many options when it comes to drinking water. Most people avoid tap water and use filtration systems at home or drink bottled water. However, many bottled water products are sourced from municipal tap water. The two largest bottled water providers in the world – Dasani and Aquafina – are sourced from the city water supply and then filtered using a reverse osmosis process. Reverse osmosis is effective at removing metals, salts and other inorganic materials, but is ineffective at removing organic compounds, bacterial microorganisms, toxins, chlorine by-products, or dissolved gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and radon.
Chilly Water has been scientifically proven to be a cleaner and healthier alternative than filtered water beverages. No water is 100% pure, but Chilly Water is the next best thing!
Our Chilly Water label is a digital image of the Widespread Panic song “Chilly Water” designed by the Soundwaves Art Foundation, a philanthropic organization founded by British-born, US-based artist Tim Wakefield (www.soundwavesartfoundation.org). Tim and his team have worked with over 500 of the world’s leading musicians to design “one of a kind” art pieces using a multimedia process to create digital images of recorded sound waves. The artwork is sold to raise money for charities and social justice causes supported by the music industry.
To date, Soundwaves Art Foundation has raised over $7.5 million for charity and has sold artwork to music fans in over 90 countries. “Our mission is to raise money for world-changing charities by partnering with top tier musicians and activating their fan bases to donate money through the purchase of digital art,” says Tim Wakefield. Soundwaves Art Foundation donates 100% of profits and is having a huge impact both on a canvas and in the community.
The secret behind Chilly Water is a patented water treatment system known as NBOT or Nano-Bubble Oxidation Technology (www.nbotlabs.com). NBOT’s all-natural process combines ozone and nanobubbles to generate a powerful disinfectant known as a hydroxyl radical. Hydroxyl radicals are one of the strongest oxidants known to science – over 100,000 times stronger than chlorine, and will completely destroy or “oxidize” micro-organisms and chemical compounds. The hydroxyl radicals quickly react and convert back into dissolved oxygen. There are no additives or chemicals used in the treatment process.
The nanobubbles are critical to the process and act like a time release vitamin for the water by introducing ozone over time for extended hydroxyl radical production. Dissolved ozone only has a 20 minute half-life in water, but ozone inside a nanobubble can remain for two (2) weeks. The nanobubbles do not rise to the surface and burst, but instead, they assume “gas-like” properties in water and diffuse naturally throughout the entire water column. As the bubbles implode, heat and energy are produced which combine with the ozone and water molecules to generate hydroxyl radicals. As a result, the water is completely saturated with hydroxyl radicals and thoroughly disinfected.
Upon completion of the disinfection and purification process, the water is then oxygenated. Pure oxygen is infused into the nanobubbles which forces the ozone out of the water. NBOT produces over 250 million bubbles per milliliter and each bottle of Chilly Water contains over 100 billion oxygen-filled nanobubbles.
